The apartment views are exactly as in the photos. Lovely to see St Kilda and the bay from above. Day, sunset and night was gorgeous. Waking to lovely sunsets in the east was pretty good too. Nice not to be at an apartment stay in Melbourne where the view is another building.

On entry you may be discouraged by the age of building. But the views of the parade, yacht club and bay are beyond comparison globally. The unit has been fully renovated. Was very comfortable. With all amenities supplied and more... It was easy to slip back to simpler slower timers and relax. No AC or CH may concern some visitors but sea breezes where amble to cool during our stay plus industrial fan and 3 elec. bank heaters supplied cooler times...

We enjoyed our stay at Beaconsfield Parade - the chief delight is the spectacular view over the beach towards the sea from the balcony and the well-equipped kitchen. The only problem with that is the road is very noisy, especially morning and evening rush hour times. The bathroom is a bit dated but the shower over the bath is very efficient and powerful with copious hot water at any time of day or night. On request a hairdryer was provided promptly. I would take issue with the description of the bed as kingsize- it is longer than average but only the width of a standard double - as this was one of the reasons I chose this apartment that was disappointing. Storage space was adequate. Communication was very easy and Michele was very obliging with any requests we had. Transport is very close by as well as an excellent cafe, Frankie’s, though the supermarket is a good fifteen minute walk for me, especially with shopping to carry. The ever changing light on the sea was stunning and the apartment is great for taking advantage of St Kilda’s seaside activities.
